Air Traffic Controller - Rajiv Gandhi International Airport

I visited the Air Traffic Control (ATC) tower at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad and it was an incredible experience.

The walkthrough provided by their operations head was a fascinating insight into the sophisticated technology that ensures the smooth operation of flights in and out of the airport and also aircrafts using airspace that falls under their responsibility. Standing at the top of the tower, which is impressively high, I had a breathtaking view of the runway with planes taking off and landing right before my eyes. The perspective from up there truly highlighted the precision and coordination involved in air traffic management. The entire experience was both educational and inspiring.
